Masters Hall
Right in the heart of the Tararua District, Masters Hall is conveniently situated for every activity you may have planned within the Tararua region. Whether you are visiting local attractions, tramping, fishing, just passing through, or would like to organise your entire event onsite with us, we can accommodate individual travelers, families, and both small and large groups of up to 100 people. Masters Hall Accommodation and Conference Centre is a very relaxed, peaceful place, and perfect for large groups and family functions.
Masters Hall is located right on State Highway 2, and is only:
1 minute from local supermarket, shops, cafes, and restaurants
30 minutes from Palmerston North
30 minutes from Dannevirke
40 minutes from Masterton
5 minutes from the iconic Tui Brewery

Facilities available at Masters Hall
Please note as this was originally a hospital all of the buildings have wide hallways, and ramps with easy access for wheelchairs, walking frames, or anyone with mobility issues.
Masters Hall complex has separate self-contained accommodation areas. You do not share accommodation areas or facilities with people you do not know, only those people within your group.

Matron’s Flat
Within those accommodation areas we have the following configurations available:
23 separate bedrooms with queen beds - sleep up to 46
18 single beds (in rooms of 2 or 4) - sleep up to 18
8 bunk rooms (each sleep 4-8 People) - sleep up to 46
Conference Room - seats approx. 75 - 80 people
Dining Hall - seats approx 75 people
Self-catering kitchens
BBQs (a fee of $30 is charged to cover gas use and cleaning costs)
Optional catering may be available
